Strasbourger born (1966) Bobby Dirninger began his carreer travelling all around Europe with his guitar as only luggage. In 1992, his first trip to Chicago gave him the opportunity to meet Bob Koester, creator and owner of legendary Delmark records who soon will guide Dirninger all around the "windy city" blues world. He stayed in the us enough time to play in several clubs and to make up his mind to become a blues musician. Back in europe, His third cd ("In The End") reached Top Ten of the best blues cd in 2006 (Crossroads mag and Blues radios billboard) and received general applause from the blues critics who nominated him in the best singing category for the European Blues Award (alongside with Long John Baldry and Eric Burdon). He since toured in France, Spain, Kazakhstan and Russia, mostly with Chicago singer Zora Young (appearing too in her Delmark latest release-2006); he currently supervises a new cd for her on the same label as her producer.
